Governance
Excelsior Academy is locally governed by a volunteer Governing Board of Trustees and operates independently of the local school district. The Utah State Board of Education and the State Charter School Board have oversight responsibility for this charter school and annually review the progress of this and every charter school in Utah. Excelsior Academy’s Board of Trustees usually holds its open public board meetings the second Tuesday of every month.
