Excellence at Excelsior

State Science Fair

The Salt Lake Valley Science and Engineering Fair hosted close to 500 students from some of the most prominent School Districts in Utah including: Salt Lake City schools, Granite, Park City, Murray and Tooele County schools. Our students competed very favorably with this group, clearly placing Excelsior Academy on the map this year. We want to congratulate all our SLVSEF participants. The following awards were given to Excelsior Academy students at the awards ceremony, held at Rice Eccles Stadium on March 26th.

  • Only recipient of the Ricoh Sustainable Development Award
  • Invitation to the Roots and Shoots Youth Environmental Fair Dallin Taggart -8th grade
  • 2nd place- Earth and Planetary Sciences
  • Special recognition from Invitations to the Roots and Shoots Youth Environmental Fair
  • United States Army recognition

Dallin -8th Grade

  • 2nd place- Earth and Planetary Sciences
